I truly can't believe that September is almost here. Where did the summer go? No, no, really, where did 2013 go? I feel like I slept through it. But, hey, September does mean that Yuletide nominations are on the horizon. And this year...I have no idea what to nominate. Hm.

There is this vague memory I have of saying at least once or maybe more than that during the year...hey, I have to remember that for Yuletide! Oops. Relying on my memory is always a bad plan. I could ask for Ripper Street, because there is so very, very little fandom for it, and Captain Jackson is a sexy, unwashed scoundrel. Of course I do always nominate Woman On The Edge of Time, and I still haven't completely despaired of receiving it one day. I don't think hockey RPF is eligible? Or maybe it depends on the pairing. What else do I like? I can't think.

So what are you guys nominating?

Grr. I attempted a reply but DW seemed to want to eat my reply.

I still hold out hope that The Book of Lost Things will make it into the approved fandoms, Someday.

My nominations will probably include repeats from last year: Kraken, Whitechapel, and Seven Kingdoms Trilogy. I kind of hope there's another, newer, fandom that I want to nominate. We'll see.

The only thing I know for sure is What Maisie Knew, the Onata Aprile/Alexander SkarsgÄrd/Julianne Moore movie. Otherwise... it's always a hard choice!

Do watch it if you can! It's lovely. (Are you the sort of person who needs to know about how it ends before you go in? I can tell you, if you want, in vague terms that won't spoil you much.)

When I was a teenager my summers were endless, like so many things were happening for ages.
