This just makes me want to hug poor Clark so hard. Because I can totally see him having this kind of revelation, this kind of doubt. There are moments when Jonathan seems almost afraid of Clark, what he is, what he can do, and I have to wonder right along with Clark. I don't know if Jonathan would have shot a human son. Poor woobie!
