oh, wow. this is excellent, really. once i'd gotten well into dean's discovery, i sort of did a mental playback and realised that, though it would be so easy for a plot like this to be... i don't want to say hokey, because it diminishes the seriousness of the thing, but with that same sort of artistic integrity. it was all in the set-up, i think. it just felt very real, and the idea of supernatural evil and human evil and sam only having been prepared for the one just felt important (and not in an after-school special way). dean was outstanding, and how i loved little sammy. thanks a lot for sharing this.
