It's the "knowing himself well enough to fear the day he doesn't care" that really gets to me. Because he's totally self-aware enough to recognize these things about himself, but not strong enough to fight them because it's really not the kind of fight anyone could win when they're totally isolated from everyone around them. So heartbreaking!
