I so love the idea of Clark feeling that he finally has a family again, with Pete and Al. Oh, this is going to make the revelation when Lex finds out who he is even more painful! Especially as you've shown us how very in love they are, and how hurt Al was when he thought Clark had cheated on him.

I love the way you've taken a familiar tale, but woven so much of your own story into it that we don't know what to expect around each corner. It all feels fresh and new and wonderful.
