You're right, actually. With Clark at the Talon, he was his usual pushing right up to the limit and then strategically backing off self.

Most of the scenes with Helen just made me want to gag. "I believe in us." Somebody make it stop.

But the secret room creeped me out. Maybe if it had seemed more like a shrine to the big, gay love. But then, it wouldn't have been on television. *g*
