About Bill Taylor... That's a good question. I thought about making it explicit that Bill had seen Clark at the club and knew he was a hooker. But the plot kind of goes in a different direction, and there's no real room for a threatning-to-expose-their-arrangement arc. I wasn't actually planning for Bill to be such a major character. He just kind of took off on me, and I'm still deciding what to do with him.

Hmmm, well, I don't think it would be improbable if you didn't take the Taylor subplot any further. Because even if (as I think he must) he does know that Clark was turning tricks, it's one thing to try and convince Lex to lend out his boytoy (as Taylor no doubt sees him) and quite another to go behind Lex's back and antagonize him. I mean, just based on the bare bones that you've told us about Taylor, he's got a lot more to lose than Lex does. What I mean by that is that Lex is 23, openly bisexual, and a Luthor. Taylor on the other hand is older, far back in the closet, and married. It would be perfectly plausible for Taylor to decide that discretion was the better course of valour.
