Yeah, the cashiers' cheques or cheques made out to cash thing would work. Sorry about obsessing over it, only I helped someone with limited English open a bank account recently and with the amount of identification you need to have, it would probably be easier to break into a bank than open an account! So I was fixating on the cheque thing.

I just have conceptual difficulties with the concept of having so much money that you have to pay someone to take the time to balance your chequebook! Possibly because I've never had that kind of money.
But I thought about it, and I work in a big office. The VP never reconciles his own expenses. He gives the receipts to his assistant, she sorts them out and reconciles them with the the charges on his corporate card, then gives him a summary to look over and sign. And that's just one monthly credit card statement, but because the card gets used so much, it's a big job. Somebody like Lex would have way more going on than that VP, so of course he'd need outside help.
Still boggling, though. I can't get the concept of having that much money through my head!
