This was just lovely, Lenore! (in spite of the fact that Clark didn't make a claim on Lex at Club Zero - and, Mmmm! Wouldn't that have been nice?)
You got such lovely moments in here - the days as daisy petals, Lex's vulnerable back and soft mouth. Even Lex's initially hostile welcome for Clark is aesthetically pleasing. And (Hah!) Lex is masculine clothing seems a little exotic in this context. Lex! You beautifully malleable boy!
Clark has never wanted anything enough to give into his worst nature - and isn't that a sad, sad thought of a half-lived life. And I have to wonder if Lex's little flirtation was in revenge for seeing Clark with those women on the dance floor, or if he was indeed working the club and wanted Clark to see him with someone else.
Lex is quite mysterious in this universe. I like it! *g* But I still think Clark needs to start exercising a little of his journalistic interpretation skills to try and figure out what Lex is almost telling him. Of course, he can't really help that he is totally unable to think around Lex at all, so I'm not sure that will ever happen. *eg*
And how do I love Lex's sluttiness! He can't get caught in the gardener's shed *again*?? I love pervy Clark who seems just as much turned on as jealous of all the other people Lex has been with. Guh!
Guh! Guh! Guh!
