One of my issues with the brothers has always been the ways that they see each other compared to the ways that they actually are, and I think that right here you've shown perfectly how that's always going to be different. Because, despite the fact that they both basically just want to love each other, there's always going to be that schism between how Dean thinks he can do that and how Sam thinks he can.
