Lenore! One of my favorite writers shares my birthday? And to celebrate with such a fantastic story--woo-hoo!!! That's my kind of present, woman!
The banter between the brothers was golden; clever and funny, with their voices perfect. And the one-upmanship element of their attempts at baiting the demon ("Oh yeah, well top this gay move") were so perfectly in character, as well as being scorchingly hot.
And finally, of course, some true laugh-out-loud lines (my husband can attest to the out loud part)tyhat I always get from your stories. This:
Sam and Dean carefully didn't look at each other and finished their beers and by unspoken agreement, called it quits on their first evening of being gay for each other.
was just one of many.
Happy birthday, Lenore, and thank you for making mine end with a big goofy smile. :)
