NYC Area Families: Be on TV!

This came across my desk at work. Please pass along if you know of a family in the NYC area who might be interested:

Nick @ Nite is shooting a pilot for a game show called “The Hunt” and is looking for families to play.

“The Hunt” is a “scavenger hunt” -- an action-packed, real-life quest show in short form, wrapped around a weekly 2-hour block of Nick at Nite shows -- featuring real families.

Our host will send a pair of lucky families out into the streets of Manhattan. The families hunt for a series of seven items: socks from a jogger... a map from a tourist.... an autograph from a celebrity, a kiss from a carriage horse. Each time the family finds an item, they get a clue for the next crazy thing to find. Whichever family finishes their list first wins.

If you know a family that would be interested and would be available to shoot on 1/28/08, please email info@hypernyc.com.

Ooooh, I would love to do this! But we're in Miami and don't have enough cold-weather stuff to pretend to be New Yorkers for a few days. Alas.

It does, doesn't it? I was half tempted to try to borrow some kids from somewhere so I could do it. *g*

Hee! You'd definitely need the cold-weather gear this week. It's been pretty frigid. The show does sound like fun, doesn't it? I was half tempted to try to borrow some kids. *g*

If it gets picked up and they need more families for later in the spring or summer, I'd love to know about it> And not just because we'll be in and near NYC for about 10 days in June.

Oooh!

It's an old-fashioned scavenger hunt! How very Woodehousian. (o:

Ineligible, alas, living in Yorkshire as I do.
