Burn Notice Season Finale

But, man, what a slashy, slashtastic, slash-festival of a party it was! I have decided to completely ignore the fact that Victor dies in the end. La-la-la-la-la. *hands over eyes* What fatal gunshot wound? Because...

Wow. Just wow. Every conversation. Every glance. The fact that Michael chooses to trust Victor. The two of them being bad-ass hotness in motion while they're working together. The fact that they're going to GO TO CUBA TOGETHER!! And even though la-la-la I didn't see any fatal gunshot wound, if I had seen one, I would have been staring open-mouthed at how emotional Michael got about it. Like he'd lost someone who was important to him in some way.

My second favorite thing about the episode was when Sam and Fi meet up, and they're all: should we listen to Michael and look after his family, or should we listen to Madelyn and go back up Michael. And they exchange one glance that lasts about a micro second, and then they're up and hauling ass to go back up Michael. Because of course that's what they're going to do. They're his team. I love the team!

Now that they've stopped undercutting Fiona's kickass awesomeness by making her the whiny, overly needy girlfriend, I like Michael and Fiona much better together. (And I found the sex they had together earlier in the season damn hot.) I swallowed kind of hard when Michael says "I've never lost everyone I care about" and gives Fiona one of those big, meaningful glances of his. Awww!

In conclusion: totally awesome finale!!

I was SO thrilled when Michael took on Victor as a client, and they were so snarky and clever together, and I might just have wailed at the screen when Victor got shot.

I've been trying to write the story in which Victor's wound wasn't fatal, and Michael didn't take the out of shooting him, but it's not going too well. *sadface* But if I can enable you writing it, in any way, I will!

Oh, yay! I'm so glad to hear you're writing that story. Maybe you just need a little time to sort it out? If I can help you in any way, let me know.

Thank you, Lenore! I'll definitely let you know if I need help. I might just take another look at it now, seeing as I seem to be writing more easily today.

Though I still cast my vote for you writing it!
