I'm way behind on sending feedback. So I thought I'd at least rec a few of the things I've liked lately.



There have been so many stories in the last few weeks that have touched on my favorite themes or hit my kinks. And it has made me so happy. :)


The Good Son by dolimir
Martha as Lex's surrogate mother. It takes all my self-control (yes, I do have some) not to stalk Dolimir until she posts the rest of this WIP. Happily, she says she's almost finished.

Riding the Tiger by xnitelite
Stories about Lex's childhood. Nite takes Lex's throwaway line in "Precipice" about learning to box and gives us this wonderfully touching look into young Lex's life.

Some Like It Hot by corinna_5
Futurefic where the boys are still together. Especially stories like Corinna's that make it believable. Lex is as complicated as ever. Being Superman is hard. There's some Lexian misadventure, and a Lois Lane who's tough but not a shrew.

Jailbird by aelita
Jail stories. (No, I don't have any shame.) Clark in a skirt. Lex to the rescue. Jailhouse sex. Yes, please.

Not to Be by joyfulgirl41
Other possibilities, other universes. Joyfulgirl tells us five stories that never happened and makes us feel as if they did.

Push by rosenho
Fixing episode messes. Hope takes that ridiculous Lana-Jennifer-Henry triangle from "Witness" and makes some good, twisted sense of it. Lovely, lyrical writing.

The Six Wives of Lex Luthor by jacynrebekah
The boys finally get together. Yay! And it's wonderfully funny.

Coercion by alax
Bad, wrong Clionel. (Because I'm going to hell.) I don't know what it is about Lionel extorting sex from Clark. But it's so damned hot.

Treads & Risers by Chicklet
Public sex. The thrill of the boys getting caught. The erotic zing of them just not being able to wait. Mmm-hmm.

Mountains and Molehills by fizzabith
Identity issues. And it's hilarious!

Clark smiled. "Ah, so you're not broken. You're just gay." And with relief, Clark Kent took his dick in his hand and began stroking-- "Wait, you're gay? How can you be gay? I'm not gay."

Sparks by seperis and rageprufrock
Stories about their friendship. Oh, yeah, and strippers. *g* This got hotter every time I read it.

Ceremony of Innocence by rivkat
I love the complexity that RivkaT always brings to writing Lex. She makes him both sympathetic and dangerous, and I found this story completely riveting.

The important thing was to be certain about whether he wanted Clark in his bed or in his laboratory, and not to attempt the latter until he'd truly given up on the former.

Shiver.

When a Strawberry is Pushed into a Mountain by thamiris
Calligraphic sex. Hot poetry talk. A cool plot. It's all so good. I know you guys have already read this, because you're all smart cookies. But I did just want to say how very much I enjoyed it.

Kyoto Song and Distraction by velvetglove
I loved both of these pieces. Wonderful writing and emotionally compelling.
