In other news, the pairings that are interesting me most from the new shows this season are all het couples. I LOVE Chuck/Blair on Gossip Girl with that Dangerous Liaisons Lite thing they've got going on. And I'm also into Charlie/Constance on Life and am sad that everyone else seems to be into Charlie/Dani, because I'd really love to read some fic. Not that I don't enjoy Charlie and Dani's relationship, but I prefer it as partners rather than lovers. And then, *shamefaced*, sometimes when I'm watching Dirty, Sexy Money, and I see the twins, well...*shamefaced*

Yeah. So. Het. Who would have thought it? *g*

P.S. I totally forgot about Pushing Daisies! I love me some Ned/Chuck, maybe with intermediary Olive. Yum!

omg Charlie/Constance. *glee* it's not my usual style of 'ship, but omg!love.

Charlie is just so hot anyway, but that scene in Constance's office, when he came to the rescue after that thug had gotten rough with her? Oh, man. That's some serious chemistry between those two.

And Life - I'm with you on the pairing choice. She believed in him for YEARS. that's devotion.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one watching "Life", which is a show that Tivo suggested I'd like, so I tried it. Nobody on my flist or RL mentioned it to me and I'd never heard of it before, but Tivo was right, I love it. It's the only show I'm afraid the writer's strike will hurt other than "Chuck."

YES! *SQUEAK!* that's the scene! I enjoy reading Charlie/Dani fic, but that scene sent me into flails of squeal. I let out a groan of dismay when the "you're married" came out. I was like "Divorce whoever it is! You're a lawyer! Yes that's it! Divorce him so Charlie won't feel guilty, then you go christen his house!"

SMOKING chemistry.

Constance and her husband seem well on their way to getting divorced. Bring on the hot house christening, I say!

Okay, remember I'm old and stuff, I don't recognize the people in your icon. But het! Yes. It's been good times this TV season. Good times!

Re: Life. Yes! Exactly. I love the idea that she's been with him all along, that she believed in him when no one else did, and I loved that conversation when she was sad because Charlie had been hers, all hers for years, and then when he got out of prison and they could actually be together, he suddenly wasn't hers, all hers anymore. So poignant! So hot!

I had not heard of Life and missed the first episode or two actually, but then a friend of mine was watching it and recommended it, and I gave it a try, and LOVE it. Damien Lewis is so compelling as Charlie.

Why are you afraid the strike will hurt the show, curiously? I'm not really up on all the details about it.

Chuck/Blair really is too gorgeously wrong for words. I adore them. As much as I love Blake Lively, Serena/Dan isn't doing lots for me; I'm more interested in Rufus than Dan.

Het! It's the new fandom kink!

Rufus is hot! I mean, I am more his age than Dan, so it's not surprising he's more interesting to me. But. Yeah. Hot!

And hee! Het really does seem like a kink, doesn't it? *g*

I vote for Ned/Chuck with snarky Emerson standing by, and the Twins from Dirty, Sexy Money. Yep, I am with you there. With you in Pervitude!

Oh gosh, I'm finally catching up with all episodes of Life, and I'm completely hooked.

Well, I had actually heard that if no scripts were coming down the pipe on *Chuck*, it would mean Chuck was going to be canceled outright, and applied that idea to Life. I figured that if they were half-way through the season and it was doing only middling, they'd use the strike as an excuse to cancel. Apparently not so, it might even be a boost to a show that's on the bubble -- they'll keep it on because otherwise they won't have anything when the strike is over.

But really, it just seems to me that no script = no show

I'm SO glad I'm not the only one who sees the pervy potential of the twins on Dirty Sexy Money. Or maybe relieved is really the word I want. *g*

So, so true! They really have sizzling hot chemistry. I was worried there for a while that she had been written out of the show. I was glad to see her return!

We're always peering around the same corner to see what perviness might be there!
