Baseball observation

Jeter keeps having these moments with Ivan Rodriguez in this series against Detroit. It's like with A-Rod out of the lineup, he's just looking for any Rodriguez he can get.

Oh, Derek!

Sometimes a guy has to make do. *g*

I was going to say something like "any Rod in a storm," but somehow that doesn't sound quite right... *g*

Games like this, I have to make my own fun. And also drink beer.

Yeah. I was in a bar, and they were up by 2, and then I spent five minutes on a subway and then they were down by 2. Don't know how that happened. Did you see Andy Petitte lose his cool there when Gonzalez made that error? Poor Andy.

SIGH. Yes, beer, and thinking about teh gay. It's the only way.

Awwww. Pudge is the best, yo!! Or, for the purposes of talking to you about him and being sensitive to your preferences ... the second-best.

[However, Pudge-Rod is a terrible nickname]

I appreciate your sensitivity! But I do really love Pudge. Although, you know, not as much as my boys.

And yes, yes, I must agree about Pudge-Rod. Just...no.

Awww! Poor lonely Derek! His best friend and his boyfriend on the DL! It's so sad.

I know! It's SO sad. But hopefully, A-Rod will at least be back in the dugout to keep him company.
