Oh dear (Hockey)

So...I seem to have fallen hopelessly under the spell of Sid and Geno. Does anyone want to discuss their awesomeness with me? (Because I probably shouldn't keep e-mailing [personal profile] pun every few seconds.) I mean...if there is anyone still on DW/LJ, that is. :)

I'm going to see the Penguins play the Bruins on Friday! I'm hoping to spot Sid sitting somewhere up in the press box level, since my seats are practically at the top anyhow.

OMG SO AWESOME.

I have to admit it. I have a problem. I have ALL the Sid/Geno Feels, and I luff them.

Yay! I fell head-first into Sid/Geno back in November and haven't looked back. BEST.

Not really related to the content of your post (well, actually, maybe)—but I'm here via [personal profile] garryowen, who suggested I swing by and say hi when s/he heard I live in NYC and like hockey. I hear those two things are also true of you?

No worries! Somehow I find it hard to keep up with the internet at the best of times. :) I'd love to get together. Coffee, perhaps? Or—if you're into Marvel fandoms and haven't seen Iron Man 3—we could do that. Let me know! Where are you located? I'm in Clinton Hill in Brooklyn.

Oh, we're not far apart at all, then! Nice. :) However, I'm headed to my parents' place in CT on Tuesday for a couple of days, so maybe next weekend or the following week we could get together? Say, the 2nd or 3rd or thereafter? If you're interested in Star Trek into Darkness or the Fast & the Furious, I'd be up for seeing those; or we could do coffee. Let me know!

No worries! Life gets crazy, I know. I'd love to see a Stanley Cup game, and actually that bar sounds like fun; I'm trying to find places that'll be good about putting on what folks want to watch, because my sister and I would love to watch cricket sometime but never know where to go to do that. So: that'd work!

I have a volunteer orientation at the Red Cross on Wednesday afternoon from 1-5:30, on the UWS... I could meet afterwards, though, say 6:30 or 7, if you wanted?

Awesome!

Awesome! I'll see you then. I'll send you a PM message now with what I look like and my real name. :)

Wait!

Damn it! After all that, I just realized I am not free on Wednesday after all—a friend just emailed and reminded me we are going to a show that night at 8. I didn't have it on my calendar. Sorry! :( Any chance you're free Thursday or Friday, instead?

Happy birthday!

Alas, looking at my calendar, I have things every evening for the next week or so—I don't have a free evening until next Thursday (!) mostly thanks to a twice-a-week class that starts next Monday. We could try for next week, if you are able?

Alternately I could do Monday afternoon, though the games probably aren't showing then. Thoughts?
