I wanted to play, too!

Drabbling is fun. But getting exactly 100 words is hard, man. This took me all afternoon.

Visibility

Amy doesn't know why she does this, gliding through his house like a ghost, touching things he touched. She can't pretend he loves her. Not when she's seen them, their long legs tangled, pale skin against gold.

Upstairs, the bedroom door is ajar.

"Can't tell me or won't?"

"Can't respect my privacy? Or won't?"

A pause.

"I guess that's it then."

A sigh.

"I guess."

Clark walks past her, unseeing. Lex sits motionless on the bed. And maybe she should feel glad. But that look on his face, and she wishes his grief could be as invisible as she is.

Tragically beautiful. Such a perfect combination.

And that last line remains a punch in the gut no matter how many times I reread it. *g*

Ah, thank you. I'm glad you liked it. Although I have to say that I hope next week's drabble is happier. All this rifting is making me sad!

All this rifting is making me sad!

*beyond baffle* Rift? What is this rift of which you speak? I know it not.

You're right. You're right. I went temporarily insane. But I'm better now. *g*

~repeat to self mantra-like~ Rift? What rift?

LOL. Good thing that got cleared. Was worried for a second there, wondering to self, "What in the world is she talking about?"

Am glad you have stopped talking in Krytonian and have embraced English again.

*dances the dance of Clexy bliss*

Amy was an excellent character. I'm surprised she hasn't figured in more fics.

Wonderful, wonderful scene.

I loved her too. Would love to see her again, in fact. I don't think obsession dies that easily.

And thanks! I'm so glad you liked my storylet.
