By all rights, they're who I should be fangirling, since they're actually of my generation! *g*

GSF PANIC ALL THE WAY! But if I had to pick a pairing? Spencer/Brendon, although Jon/Brendon is no too bad either.

This is why I wanted to do this poll, so I could learn about important things like Panic GSF! Which, now that I'm thinking about it, really makes the only sense for this band's OTP. :)

PANIC GSF, HELLOOOOOO! You can't separate them like that, they'll all cry! THEY'RE TOO PRETTY TO CRY UNLESS IT IS FOR PLOT-RELATED PURPOSES THAT END IN CUDDLES AND SEX.

Also, the best fics are where they are all oblivious and piney and obvious and adorable!

Actually, I'm more any mcr-fob-patd member/any mcr-fob-patd member.

In band, I have a huge adoration of pete/patrick or patrick/joe, ryan/spencer, and, uh, mcr member/mcr member.

(True to my heart xover pairings - Patrick/Bob, Patrick/Gerard, Pete/Gerard and Ryan/Gerard fills me with gleeeeeee)

The whole bandom thing is HIGHLY entertaining, Lin. It really, really is.

While I'm primarily fannish about Fall Out Boy, my heart truly belongs to Cobra Starship. Because Gabe Saporta is the most precious, adorable, wonderfully sweet bandboy. Do not buy into the hype that he is evil and locks people in his basement! Because he is not -- he is wonderful and sweet and stands outside in the cold until every fangirl has a chance to say hello to him! I CHOSE HIM OVER PATRICK IN YOUR POLL, LENORE. Do you have any idea how much that means I must love him?!

(Patrick, however, has my heart because when I went to the "no frills" semi-interactive-signature-acquiring-experience for FOB, Patrick got yelled at with Every. Single. Person. because he refused to not talk to people as he signed their albums, insisting on asking them their names and how they were doing and thanking them for being there. He wrote in Spanish on

piper47's Spanish homework! He's so adorable.)

My favorite pairing is still the first pairing I found -- Pete/Patrick. I just...they're so perfect. They're one of my few All Time Fannish OTPs, of which there is Mulder/Scully, Clark/Lex, and now Pete/Patrick. But I am also sad because your poll did not have my pet pairing in it - Gabe/Patrick. Because they fangirl each other mutually and also because, well, precious. And because Patrick totally wears the pants. As seen in 'Sass Attack!' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUYJiEzD1go) And also because Gabe may or may not have gotten Patrick to make unbelievably dirty gasping noises on his album.

I am so happy you have come to play in our sandbox. I will just keep repeating that over and over! :D

Linz! That is true love if you chose Gabe over Patrick. (I actually couldn't answer that question--I know! it's my own poll! But I just couldn't!--because the idea of splitting up Pete and Patrick was too much for me.)

It's interesting to get another perspective on Gabe, because all I know about him I learned from fan fic, and that involves him being a manslut and locking people in his basement and Pete having a heart attack when he sees Patrick going to the back of the Cobra Starship tour bus with him. But I can't not love a bandom guy who's good to the fangirls!

HAHAHAHHAH OMG BULLLLLLLETPROOF hotness. I picked the romantic first time thing because usually my favourite favourites are more about equal partners than total filth, but if i'm looking for total break-my-brain hotness, then yeah, make him 15 and quick to blush. Hee. Hell!

Also, I dunno how exactly you define "fannish" so i went with "would seek out stories where a member of this band is the main character" - ie i said i'm not fannish about Gym Class coz I don't go hunting up Travis/Matt and I am fannish about PATD even though I don't love them because I do love stories about their ridiculous gay love.

Gah. That was the most difficult poll I've taken in a long, long time. I like all kinds of stories! And I'm just not an OTP sort of person! (Runners up for the pairing: Pete/Patrick and Patrick/Bob; I also really like rare pairs.) And at various times I actually love Bob, Frank, and Mikey more than I love Gerard (though I do adore Gerard!), but Gerard is the most necessary, somehow.

Re: "fannish" -- I picked the ones I'm fannish about in terms of seeking out fic and being reasonably interested in some amount of canon; if we're talking bands that I'm really fannish about the actual music for (love rather than only like), the My Chem is probably it, plus the Dresden Dolls, who I adored long before I'd ever heard of bandom.

A poll about all of bandom is pretty broad ranging. It's no wonder it was hard! There was at least one question I couldn't answer, and I wrote the poll. *bg*

Hey, I'll have to check out the Dresden Dolls. One of the thing I really like about getting into bandom is that it's introduced me to new music.

My OTP is Brendon/Spencer or it's Panic GSF. That's my happy place now.

Now that I have been educated about Panic GSF, that is probably what I would choose for that question! :)

Brendon/Spencer is my total weakness. I'll always, always read about those two adorable failboats. For sure you should check out

skoosiepants's bandom stuff. It is hilarious and adorable and sealed my fate as a brendon/spencer 'shipper.

And it warms my fannish little heart that MCR and Gerard are currently coming out ahead in the first three questions - YAY! The fourth question was tricky because I can't imagine Gerard existing without Mikey, but in the end I had to vote for Gerard/Frank because I think they own my soul...

I'm just getting into bandom, and I'm more familiar with Fall Out Boy than MCR. But someone recommended that I go watch some MCR interview on YouTube, and I did, and I was just so charmed by Gerard Way it wasn't even funny. And all the rest of them too. But especially Gerard.

You know, this poll is horrible. I'm normally a one OTP person, but bandom is making this really difficult. Pete/Patrick is definitely my big love, but I also enjoy Jon/Spencer and Gabe/William.
Even more difficult, choosing only one. On a scale of 10, I'll give Patrick 11, Pete 10 and 9.5 to Spencer and Gabe.
Speaking of, Gabe is sad because there's no ticky box for William.

I agree with the person who said pining. If I can get pining with besmirching, I think that wins over everything. And a new one I have is people making Brendon sad, and then making him less sad.

And I am not really into The Hush Sound fanfic, but I am fannish about Greta in that I seek out vids and interviews and pictures of her more than I do with the bands that I read fic for. Possibly because FOB, MCR and PatD articles and media all get dropped into my flist, but The Hush Sound updates are more elusive, so I sometimes brave buzznet.

Pining with besmirching is definitely a winning combination!

After I made this poll, I realized that I didn't include any girls in it, which is wrong, because Greta and Vicky T are very hot.

Eeeee! Oh bandom,fandom of my heart. I am so MCR based, and more importantly Ray Toro focused. I love him and his stupid hair.

Also, I am a big fan of bands on the edge of bandom, like Mindless Self Indulgence, and Thursday.

I started off like Pete/Patrick, and slowly became more specialised until I liked Geoff Rickly (from Thursday)/Mikeyway.

I watched an MCR interview on YouTube yesterday, and the interviewer asked about fan fiction, and Ray talked about how he supported people being creative, and I was totally charmed by him.

MCR's music has been a big revelation to me. I've been listening to it incessantly. And it's put me in the mood to find even more new music. I'll check out Mindless Self Indulgence and Thursday. Thanks!

This was really hard to fill out! I'm so bad with radio buttons in bandom because my love is too expansive. But I do have to back the people who are declaring their love for Panic GSF, because they work so well in all combinations for me. :)

haha um in other news, pete/patrick are the ultimate otp because they are just so adorable and patrick stump makes the world brighter with his voice and they cannot stop proclaiming how awesome the other one is to the entire world ♥

and because they are the awesome otp it makes me happy when i read anything with them. all of the above should have been an option in the second to last question because as long as they are ridiculously in love and being themselves (i.e. dorks!) i will adore that story.

honestly, i found this poll very hard because the thing i love most about bandom is that you dont have to chose and all pairings are love e.g. runners-up for otp include gerard/frank and ryan/spencer (though i think for sure panic gsf should have been an option). its what makes bandom so much fun for me :D

I'm sorry, I can't pick a Panic pairing to save my life so it's got to be GSF all the way (my life, so hard!) but my major bandom OTP this week is Gabe/William. It's very hard not to tinhat a pairing for which there are actual pictures of kissing and eating chocolate out of belly buttons and holding up of signs that say 'I love Gabe/Bill'...

Fave Panic pairing: any combination of Spencer, Brendon and Jon. I really don't have a OTP in bandom - there are so many pairings I love to read (Frank/Bob, Frank/Gerard, Spencer/Bob, Frank/Patrick, Patrick/Mikey etc etc etc. Oh and I am starting reading Cab fic now too!)
