Oh my God, oh my God, President Obama!

Okay, so I was as excited as the next person on Inauguration Day. I watched the swearing in with the rest of my company in the conference room, and followed coverage on my computer the rest of the day, and caught some of the Inaugural balls last night. But just now, on Countdown, I saw a picture of Obama sitting at his desk in the Oval Office, on the phone, with his shirtsleeves rolled up. And my heart did this thing in my chest, and I suddenly had tears in my eyes, because it's really real: PRESIDENT OBAMA!!!!

YAY!!!!

Also, as an aside, I love how much Barack and Michelle love each other. It is so beautiful.

Yes, that. That's exactly how I feel about it. If you get a chance, or are so inclined I'd look through the photos on obama_daily or join. It makes my days much better. Also? I was telling antheia that the problem with this photo (http://community.livejournal.com/lolobama/156708.html) is that it makes me believe in fairy tales again and I am too old for that malarky.

obama_daily has been my daily dose of awesome through many long months. I swear I thought Dubya was never going to leave. And yeah, Michelle and Barack coud make you believe in anything. The moon's made out of green cheese? Really? Okay!
