No. Its not possible to put too much thought into Hotch and Reid ending up together. I was re-watching all teh episodes today with my dad( his first time ) and Hotch is always near Reid, responsive to his moods, and buting his head in when Morgan or someone teases him. He has more intimacy with Reid than they ever show him having with his wife. Clearly she has either got to go, or Reid is part of the equation. (Though I always like the dirty little secret aspect- .. Maybe Hotch doesn't know she'd be okay with it, so Spence is the dirty little secret and tehn she eventually finds out and Reid moves in and they al live happily ever after. There are really just so many possiblities. But Hotch clearly attached to the whole Child thing, so you would have to take that into account. If you really need to ditch her, she could always oe in childbirth with baby # 2. She wasn't in great shape with number 1.
