I'm thrilled you liked the story! It's my first stab at writing A-Rod/Jeter, so it's wonderful to know that you thought the characterization was well balanced. I'm really more a Derek girl, and was for years before A-Rod joined the team, but as I was writing, I had a lot of sympathy for them both.
