Oh, spring! You trickster you. Why must you rain on opening day? I just want to watch some Yankees. Please?

Is there anyone reading this in Baltimore? How's it looking there today? I've been following the weather on weather.com, but it'd be nice to have an eye witness account. :)

I'm personally thrilled it's raining, because I work 4-8:30.

I'd settle for rain. Currently it is snowing in STL. It is not fun, however, they're telling us it will stop soon and only be cold this afternoon for the first pitch instead of a winter wonderland at Busch. I know they've canceled the BoSox, and they're playing tomorrow, but that's all I've got info on.

I just want baseball, you know, Ingrid?

It's been so long!

Oh man, snow would suck. I hope it stops, and you guys get baseball!

I think there's a good chance they'll get the Yanks game in, although I'm expecting it to be delayed.

It's raining in DC, been wet since 8:30 this morning. It's quit for a little bit, but it's planning on plunging down to the 30s. I guess this is payback for the 70 degree weather yesterday.

It really, really is! Sorry your game got postponed. I'm getting the feeling that the Yankees game might end up the same way.

Hmm. That's not sounding too good. If only opening day had been yesterday!

Thanks for the update!

It rained and thundered all morning in Annapolis. Then it dried up for a bit and the sun came out. Now it's getting overcast again. Looks like more thunderstorms rolling through.

Thanks for the weather update! They started the game. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping for the best.

Are we going to see Alex and Derek make out play on the field?

Yeah, I was hoping that we wouldn't be rained out. Fortunately, we weren't, but the fact that we lost 10-5 kinda cramped my happy mood >=P. However, the update on Alex and my undying optimism for my team made me feel somewhat better. Hopefully, wednesday they'll win. Oh, and that other comment by antiac588:

Are we going to see Alex and Derek (make out) play on the field?

*sigh*.....I wish... by the way, do you think it would be a bad idea to write a story where Derek is the bottom & Alex is the top? Because as of late, that idea has been swimming around in my head and lookin' good.

At least you didn't have the stupid Braves ruining Opening Day.

Sadly, Alex is out with an injury, but he should be back with the team in about a month. And then they can put that new hot tub in the Yankee club house to good use. :)

Not a good game for the Yanks. But still! It's baseball season. YAY!!!!!!!!

Seriously! 10-5 put a bit of a damper on the Opening Day party I had. Although there was still Derek Jeter on the TV, and we had beer. So at least there was that.

I don't think it's a bad idea to write a story with Alex topping and Derek bottoming. I'd just personally find it a challenge, because Alex seems so bottomy to me. But if you have a scenario in mind that's cool. Regardless of who's on top and who's on bottom, the two of the together are always hot!

Ah, yeah. That was a bummer for Phils fans.

The Yankees didn't exactly have an Opening Day to celebrate either. But whatever. It's finally baseball season again!! :)

I know! Another season of obsessively refreshing this page (http://www.sportsclubstats.com/MLB/National/East/Phillies.html) every single day after the All-Star break. (Sometimes twice a day after mid-August!)

I worry that I have been spoiled these last couple of seasons.
