Title: The Three Trials of Segeeth
Fandom: Smallville
Pairing: Kal/Lex
Rating: PG-13
Summary: Can love conquer all?
Dedication: This is for
catmoran, who waited very patiently, much longer than she should have had to.
Note: This is a sequel to Inaureme, and probably won't make much sense unless you've read that story first. Big thanks to
pun who gave me some great insight that made this a much better story.

Date: 2005-12-18 12:00 am (UTC)Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. *g* This was well worth the wait!
Did Jor-El subconsciously pick for the first two trials things that would make Lex acceptable to Kryptonian society? Or was it entirely by chance?
And I love how the name of Lex's ship fit so well to the plot!

Jor-El picked them, or at least the second one, because he assumed that Lex would fail them, since as an alien Jor-El couldn't have imagined him fitting into Kryptonian society. Little did he understand Lex! *g*

When that was suggested in the poll, I thought it was brilliant! I was so thrilled.
