The Summer of Love challenge is now open! Post a list to your story, vid, artwork, etc. that's based on one of the top 100 songs of 1966 here. And thank you so much for taking part. It's a very, very happy birthday to me!
So here's some SGA (McKay/Sheppard) for you. Parts of this have been seen before, but your challenge was what gave me the push I needed to finish the last section, and make it into a cohesive whole.
Happy Birthday from a 1967er to a 1966er!

Happy 40th Birthday, sweets! Hope you had a fantastic day! My entry for the challenge is Hungry, (http://chicklet-girl.livejournal.com/215509.html?mode=reply) from the song by Paul Revere and the Raiders.
Okay, I officially suck. The story I began to write, thinking it would be really fast, is escalating into a huge something that won't be finished today. So this is part 1, for you, and sorry there's no smut yet. I tried, but they weren't playing. Maybe you don't mind delayed gratification, and anyway, I hope that the first part intrigues you. So anyway, it's from the Crispian St. Peters song, "The Pied Piper" and that was #69... Hopefully there will be a 69 in there someday before the story is through.

Date: 2006-06-21 03:44 am (UTC)The most depressing thing about turning forty for me was having to check a different row of boxes on all the surveys that ask about age. :)
I wrote the story Don't Mess With Superman (http://mahaliem.livejournal.com/144186.html) based on the song, Don't Mess With Bill by the Marvelettes.
