Reccing a story by a new writer

There's a very nice person who always sends me feedback about my stories, and she asked me to take a look at a story of hers, the first one she's written for Smallville. I was nervous to read it (sorry, jd, if you see this!) because when you go in cold, you never know what kind of ungodly mess you might find. And I'm not the person who can help fix it. I'm just not very good at that.
But, yay!, hooray!, I really liked the story. It's In the Western Night by dogpoet. Very interesting examination of Lex's psyche. The story does have some content that some people may find squicky, although it's not at all graphic, but do take care if you're feeling sensitive today.
Go, read, send her some love.
