I am absolutely loving the way you're hitting all the right cliches here. And there's nothing wrong with clichefic, as long as it's well written.
So, does Bill Taylor (what a scuzz, BTW) recognize Clark from the club scene and realize he's a rent boy? Because I can't imagine him just randomly going up to business associates with hot boyfriends and demanding to be allowed to bonk them. I'm sensing an assumption on his part that Clark is Lex's to dispose of.
Worried now that either Bill is going to take it into his head to humiliate Clark and/or Lex publicly, or that he's going to convince Clark the best way for him to help Lex is to get him that contract.
Gosh, I hope some society photographer hasnt' taken a picture of Clark and run it in teh paper. It'd be a hell of a shock for his parents to find out that way that he's living in Metropolis, and, oh, dating Lionel Luthor's son.
