Damn that crack_van!

I really refuse to be interested in HP fandom. I do! And yet, that damned, insidious, porn-peddling crack_van has enticed me to read two HP stories recently that I really, really liked.

Today, it was Potio by Seeker. It's about Snape and Lockhart, neither of which I particularly like. Snape is so mean and kind of physically repugnant, and Lockhart is...well, Lockhart. But they're such an unlikely pair that I was intrigued and went to read it, and it's really quite an amazing story about humility learned the hard way, mercy carefully concealed, and ultimate redemption.

Then, a while back I read this seriously hot Ginny/Bellatrix story. F/f stories don't usually do it for me, but whoah mama was this one hot.

I'm not sure if I should warn you about the HP fandom sucking you in or encourage it in the hopes that you'll write it at some point.

The angel and the devil on each of my shoulders is battling it out right now.

Hee! Well, a battle between good and evil does seem appropriate given the subject...

I tell you those two stories were very different from one another, but they both just blew me way. Not to mention that they were HOT.

*sighs* I probably don't stand a chance.
