So...are we ever going to see Peter and Nathan in the same episode again? Okay, okay. I know it's only been two weeks. But I miss it.

Re: Nathan the daddy. Okay, wait, before I get to that, how hot was he tonight? When he put on those sunglasses there at the end of the episode? I think that man is getting better looking. Dude. That's Adrian Pasdar's secret power. Okay, now back to the daddy thing. Interesting insight into Nathan's mother. In the past I've mostly thought of her simply as ineffectual, but Nathan was right. She was cold. Not a care in the world that she had a granddaughter out there in the world. It makes me understand better Nathan's protective instincts toward Peter. I suspect that the two of them are all they've ever really had. And it also makes me wonder if Petrelli Sr. might have had some indiscretions and there might be other Petrellis wandering around out there, and that's why Mama Petrelli is not so keen on the bastard members of the family.

Also, Nathan has demonstrated some real tenderness for his brother, but a sap? I think not. Nathan's dickishness makes more sense to me now too. It's the family way.

Goodbye, Niki, goodbye. Hello, Jessica! You're much more interesting.

Poor Parkman! Although...um, not actually *poor* anymore.

Does Nathan not recognize Claire from the photo? I guess he only ever saw the painting of her. Never actually met her.

I did wonder before if all the brain wiping would eventually have some kind of deleterious effect, and so the answer appears to be yes. Poor Mrs. Bennet! Next week should be interesting. Looks like Claire confronts her father.

And oh my God! Jessica is supposed to kill Nathan. Um...is it wrong that I kind of find that hot? I mean, obviously I don't want Nathan to get killed. I'd stop watching the show. But...Jessica stalking him? Mmm. Am I just made wrong?

Oh! Speaking of killing and stuff. Dudes. I was freaking the whole time Mohinder and Sylar were together. Sylar has to be the scariest bad guy...well, that I've seen in a long time.

I want Peter and Nathan together next week, peoples!!!

Re: the Pasdar hotness. He's one of the those people that...it's like seeing him for the first time every time. There's always that shiver of, "Oh my!"

I think you may have confused Nikki and Jessica, not that I care about that storyline at all. Nikki = good, trapped; Jessica = evil, slept with Nathan.

Yes! I really want Peter and Nathan together again! And I very much missed Peter this episode. And I still like Hiro, but he needs his storyline to go somewhere.

It's horrifying: Bennett has been wiping his family members' minds, justifying his actions by thinking he's doing it to save the family, but he's inadvertently destroyed his wife, and undoubtedly his family will follow. We first saw him as a bad guy, then he was revealed as something of a good guy, and now he's a bad guy again.

*nods* It has been interesting seeing Mr. Bennett's character arc, hasn't it? Even now, he's more of a tragic bad guy, a fatal flaw of arrogance that causes him to hurt the people he cares about.

I keep going over Jessica getting Nathan's photo, and it seems to make no sense. This is Linderman she's working for, right? But Linderman seemed to want Nathan to win the election; why would he suddenly decide he wanted Nathan dead? Could Jessica's assignment re: Nathan be something OTHER than killing him? Threatening him, maybe? Or has Linderman found out something that suddenly made him decide he was better off with Nathan dead than in Congress? *ponders* But, yes, Adrian Pasdar just keeps getting hotter, and I join you in wanting to see him back together with Peter, as soon and as often as possible. Rowr.

Mama Petrelli is coming off as very much the clan matriarch, at least now that her husband's dead. It's interesting to see how she turned out Nathan, who is sort of like her, and Peter, who is much mushier. Makes me wonder what Petrelli Sr. was like.

Had a much belated thought. You posted an incredible story a while back which crossed the Heroes universe with Smallville, and it suddenly occurred to me: maybe Jessica could turn into Lex's Mercy...?
