Nice LBD choices! The only reason I chose Methos over Lex is that one can set him in stories everywhen as well as everywhere. True for Jack, too, but I don't find him quite as ubiquitously matchy. Much as that would disappoint the dear man.

Love the little black dress choices, had to go with Captain Jack since he really looks good on anyone, but hey that's just me. And I have go with Brendan as a shout out to my friend from high school who was a minor league pitcher until he got tendonitis. Though, also in honor of ambiguously gay minor league baseball players I went to high school with, may I suggest Marco (http://angels.scout.com/a.z?s=246&p=8&c=1&nid=2624817) as an alternative choice.

I went with Arrows for the name of the team, because I could swear that in one of the Aubrey/Maturin books they meet up with a ship called the Arrow or something with Arrow in the name, and the crew of that ship are called "the fletches," and I seem to remember thinking that was so cool, but I might totally be hallucinating.

Also, that was a very difficult final question, but ultimately, I have to go with Methos because he's such a chameleon.

First off, I'm absolutely thrilled to hear you're writing original slash -- and with baseball players to boot! That's just all kinds of awesome, I can't wait to read it ♡

Now, as for the poll:

Maybe it was your intention, but almost all of the names are very trendy and popular (except for a few that sounded very Bible-inspired). Maybe it's just a personal quirk of mine, but when I write original stories I want my characters to have unique names -- names that have some sort of significance even. But, like I said, perhaps that is what you're going for; if you're writing a young, hip, and trendy kinda guy it kinda would make sense to give him a name like that! Just, for the love of all that's holy, don't name him Aaron. That's the name of my one and only ex and aargh, 'nuff said *grimaces*

Loved all your names for the baseball team, but in the end I went with Flames. The pun on that one is just too good to pass up ;D

I haven't even taken one look at the various LJ alternatives, so I have no idea...

Right now, my favorite Little Black Dress would have to be Robin, from BBC's new Robin Hood series. I don't know if you've seen it, but he damn well goes with everyone.
