New web site

I've moved my web site to Word Press, since it's just so automated and easy, and done a complete update. All the stories I've posted in all my fandoms are now up. I haven't abandoned my popullus site, because I really like popullus, and who knows if Word Press will someday get an LJ-like case of intolerance. I'm just not sure yet what I'm going to do with the old site. Maybe I'll turn it into a mirror site eventually.

I found creating pages really easy. You can just copy your content directly from Word and paste it in the form. No need to replace carriage returns with paragraph tags. And it's easy to add new items to the navigation, which I really like.

I was puzzled at first, as well, about how it could work as a website. But it's really simple. There's an option you can choose to have a static page as the front page of your blog. Don't link to the blog from there, and for all intents and purposes, it doesn't exist.

I'm not at all good at this kind of thing, and I found WP relatively painless. I recommend it!
