I will put aside for the moment that Matt and Mohinder are really competing their hearts out for the dubious distinction of being declared the two stupidest dads ever. I can talk about something besides Matt and Mohinder. I can! I really can!
--Okay, I lied. One more thing about Matt and Mohinder. Once again it looked as if the angry sex was going to break out at any moment. I do approve of that!
--If I had a son, I'd want him to be just like Micah. He even plays the piano! I adore the piano. Took lessons for years and years, but sadly, I have no musical talent. I awwww'd all over myself during that scene. And, really, during all the other scenes too. Micah helping Monica discover the truth about her powers is way beyond awesome. Also, being a copycat remains an incredibly cool power.
--"I'm not a cargo jet." Hee! I vote Nathan the best part of this episode, with Micah a close second. Stubbly is a good look for Pasdar. Although, really, what isn't it? Well, okay, the beard. I answered my own question. But I do very much approve of the wavy hair. Anyhoo, I might have made a noise when he did the thing with the shotgun. "I'm good." ::dies:: Oh, yes. You really, really are.
--Pasdar and Grunberg have fabulous chemistry. I'm glad we've been getting so many scenes with Matt and Nathan.
--Okay, here, I admit it. Matt's dad totally hustled me, too. I bought into the whole "I'm scared, don't hurt me" routine, and he's a big lug like Matt, so I trusted him, and I really should have known better! He trapped a little girl in her nightmares and wasn't at all sorry about it! Still, he can't be the one doing the killing, can he? The person on Kaito's balcony was much smaller. Although he might have been manipulating Angela when she was attacking herself in jail. I thought it was an invisible person, but maybe it was all a delusion. Who's the big bad, I wonder? Could it be Papa Petrelli? Maybe he's not as dead as we've been led to believe.
--It's the week of hot guys fighting their inner demons! I love this week! Just like the SGA scene, this one really revealed so much about Nathan. Well done, show! It wasn't as hot as the John-on-John fighting, you know, what with the disfigurement. But the fact that Nathan is afraid he doesn't feel anything is interesting. My heart went all lurchy when he thought he'd found Peter again, and then it wasn't. God. I need a REUNION already. I'm beginning to think it's not going to happen until the end of the season.
--I still don't care about Hiro's storyline, but Ando is ADORABLE.
--Peter remains hot, albeit unconvincing as a love interest for anyone other than his brother. He carries around a picture of the two of them together! Eeeee! Also, okay, I know there was a ticket to Montreal, but they do have churches and street signs in French in...you know, France. Maybe do some googling?
--Kristen Bell is Heroes!Veronica, only using her powers for evil instead of good. That last conversation also brought to mind Miss Parker with the "sorry, daddy, it won't happen again," although without Miss Parker's sense of conflict and conscience. I'm DYING to know who her father is.
--Why doesn't Mohinder ever come to my door?????? *curses lack of powers*
--Just guessing from the previews, I'm going to say Mohinder gets even stupider next week.
In conclusion: my two dads need some damned parenting classes! Maybe that's the next thing I should write.
