So, I'm sure everyone who wants to see this probably already has, but hey, just in case, I uploaded it. This was a seriously dopey event, and there was something wrong with the sound levels, but the guys were still great!

I know!!!!!! I was so happy to see them. And they were all looking so hot and rocking the house.

(As an aside, why is Patrick nicknamed Lunchbox? This is one of those things I've wondered about.)

that had to be the most awkward show ever. i mean i loved the performance,patricks voice does things to me but seriously how awkward to have the models and tommy hilfiger (who i hate btw) walk out in front of you while you are singing/playing. weird.

I totally agree! I thought Patrick was wonderfully tasty in this performance. Even if having models going down the catwalk in front of the band was seriously awkward.

Seriously. That's one of those concepts that seems like a good idea on paper, but really, really doesn't work when it's executed. It was distracting whether you just wanted to watch the band or were actually interested in the clothes (not that I can imagine being more interested in Tommy Hilfiger than Patrick!).

But, hey, it was still great to see them!

wasn't it just so? it was so good to see them again and performing :D. 'i dont care' sounds pretty awesome live (did i mention that patricks voice slays me?!) plus 'rick looked particularly awesome and hot *licks him*

And I was surprised how normal the band look compared to the models: hot, yes, but normal-hot as opposed to clone-perfect-yet-deeply-unappealing. :) There was a picture perfect male model passing down the catwalk while I was eyeing up Patrick's veeery nice solid thighs and Pete's scrawny bum. I just wanted the camera back on the hotties. *g*

Weird sound aside, they do sound good. I can't get over how good Patrick's voice is.

I totally agree about the hotness thing! I kept trying to look past (or, hey, through, a lot of them were very skinny! *g*) the models to see the guys. Give me real people with real passion for what they do and sexy competence any day.
