You know, I started out as a Hotch/Reid shipper, and I still like them together, but after these past few episodes, I could totally go for some Reid/Prentiss.

Prentiss' savvy, compassionate, practical competence + Reid's sweet, vulnerable, brilliant geekiness = AWWWWWWW!!!!

I don't know, there's something about Prentiss that rubs me the wrong way. Like she's wearing a wig or is trying to tough or something. She handled the old man well last night, but in general, she feels like a stereotype to me. (My problem with both Criminal Minds and NCIS is the supporting cast feels like a checklist: one from Geek column, one from freaky girl column, one from ladykiller...)

Though I will take Reid with anyone! I'd love to see him make that little furrow between Hoch's eyebrows go away, just for a bit!

*nods* I agree with you that they don't develop the characters that well. When Emily first appeared, I thought she was really dull, really beige. But she's grown on me more lately, as they've shown her competence more and her quiet strength. I compare her to Elle, the glamor girl, and I find her more believable as a federal agent.

I just have to pop in and say that I've never seen the Hotch/Reid dynamic (other than that one early episode where Reid was having trouble qualifying for his gun certification).

Anyway, I've always, from the beginning found the Morgan/Reid vibe to be very strong. The way that Morgan was always calling Reid "Pretty Boy", and teasing him, ruffling his hair, etc. Not to mention the way that Morgan always *freaks out* when Reid is in danger.

And I know that Morgan has that lovely flirtation with Garcia, but I still see that as a super-close friendship. With Morgan and Reid my slash alarms go off like crazy. But to each their own. Right?? *g*

As for Reid and Prentiss, I do love their relationship, and how she challenges him, and doesn't let him hide behind his facts and figures too often. But I have a lot of trouble visualizing them hitting the sheets.

Anyway, that's enough out of me. I'll shut up now. :)

You know, I've come around more to the Reid/Morgan place since they kind of killed off the Morgan/Garcia for me. Reid and Morgan is certainly a very pretty pairing!

But Reid/Hotch still has a lot of attraction for me, if just because I have this thing for the older, more experienced mentor figure and the younger, brilliant protege. Yum! Also, I've always found Thomas Gibson really hot.

Speaking of which...your icon! Yum!
