Feeling accomplished!

I just finished the rough draft of my bandombigbang! *bounces* Just under 40,000 words of Bedazzled-style devil!Pete and bored!highschooler!Patrick. It still needs polishing and beta reading and revising and whatnot, naturally. But yay rough draft!

you know, i realize you must mean bedazzled the movie, but i'm having an entertaining time imagining pete covered in glue-on pink jewels.

This made me laugh SO HARD. I've seen Pete on more than one occasion looking like he took a bedazzler to his clothes.

Oh, oh, and now I have this vision of them on tour, and some insane fan decides it will be just the thing to give Pete a bedazzler, and he goes around for days on end guerilla bedazzling his bandmates. None of Patrick's hats are safe. And Pete keeps trying to figure out how he can bedazzle Andy's skin, because it will look really cool with his tattoos. And he ignores all of poor Joe's insistence that he's just not a sequin kind of guy. Finally, Patrick threatens to shove the bedazzler where the sun doesn't shine, and Pete knows Patrick's "I really mean it" face when he sees it. So the bedazzler is retired, but occasionally, Pete will stare longingly at Patrick in his David Bowie t-shirt and imagine how much hotter it would be with some rhinestones.

and sometimes, when he really needs a fix, he will go visit panic's bus, where brendon will happily lend pete brendon's bedazzler and let him bedazzle ryan's scarves on the sly.

My BBB is in the universe of Repo! the Genetic Opera and is... really weird and probably a little too complicated. Like, Pete has a degenerative disease that needs to be taken care of immediately, Patrick is secretly work as an organ repo man to help pay for it, Joe is taking care of Pete as best as he can, Andy is also working to take care of Pete but not quite as obviously as the rest. Bill is a prostitute who wants to be a part of the genetic opera, Gabe and the rest of Cobra are graverobbers just trying to make their way in the world. Panic is a band that wants to hit it big. ... I need a better summary. XD

As for how it's going... I've got maybe 5-6k words. Don't know the exact number, since I've been writing emails to myself and then compiling them and I haven't done a count lately. Ended up writing something in the middle and now need to bridge it to the beginning and am lost a bit.
