Rethinking my fannish strategy

I've always been too lazy to try to keep up with both LJ and DW, but I really have to rethink that now with the recurring DDOS attacks on LJ. I can't go three days without fannish connection. My hands start to shake. So. Crossposting it is.

:-) Yup. I've been crossposting for quite a while, but this little experience (omg, going into the fourth day now!) has retooled my flist reading habit. I dunno if it'll stay retooled if/when LJ comes back up, but I think I'm going to try.

I still have to figure out how to organize things so I'm not reading entries twice, but it shouldn't be that hard. And it will be nice to reconnect with the people who are DW only.

xposting has worked well for me. I mirror LJ reading lists here, but set up a filter for those DW people who do not crosspost.that way I avoid reading duplicates.
