I'd really like to read most of the AUs listed. The reason this one got my vote is, a (mostly) sane man would have said "I'm not going to hurt you."

John is the owner of a traveling carnival, like his father and his father before him, and Rodney is the nitpicky safety inspector who's come to make sure the Ferris wheel is up to code. It's bickering! Bantering! It's love on the midway!

Almost chose this one, except I think I've read already, only instead of the owner, John was the trapeze artist. Flying through the air! In tights! I don't know if that can be topped. =P

But hostage Rodney and reluctant kidnapper John...that's love.

Seems everyone wants the Brazil one =P But seriously, it's Brazil. Land of caipirinas, garotos and garotas, samba, beaches and ragga. I liked the carnival, as it promised much snark, but Brazil? I can definitely work with that.

Also, we want Lex-sex. Because it's been far too long since we had a fix, and SV does get worst as time passes, amazing as that is. But if Dean-sex wins, I ain't complaining.

And there's the universal hate for Lana, alright >< I'll never look at pink with the same eyes. Now, Clark being straight? So out of my realm of possibilities it makes me cringe just to think about it. Next they'll call Lex butch, or make Jonatha even more of a Saint than everyone though he was (if you ask me, he was a judgamental, overbearing jerk much of the time, but well, I might be biased on Lex's behalf)

Has anyone else noticed the show has been progressively smothering Chloe's personality. He's Lana's bestest girlfriend, and next thing we know they'll be swapping clothes and wearing matching, furry pink pens and listening to Britney Spears. But I'm not bitter...

I did envision the Teyla/Lana as Teyla teaching the pink princess a lesson about who's really tough, and then having her way with her. But you're still probably right. That was a terrible thing to do to poor Teyla! I need to give her some makeup sex with Ronon or Lex (or, hey, both of them!) to make it better. *g*

I couldn't pick just one of the AU's. I know there's a circus AU out there already, in case you care, but they all are really intriguing! I see the Forensics expert is leading the polls!

I think the only crossover that doesn't make me want to spork my eyes out is Rodney/Chloe. PLEASE there be a reasonably serious age difference!

Hummmm... Lex. Sadly, the awful script, nastier plot and high Lana Lang dosses have managed to scare us all slashers well away from SV. No writers stayed, and really, who can blame them? They had little to nothing to work with, and we all ran screaming for the hills when the tried to implant Lana with a personality and make Chloe the second cheerleader on the piramid.

I think so, too. Shep would probably try to recruit Papa Winchester for his team the way he picked up Ronon, but Papa is NOT a puppy by any means, when he's grumpy it's not the Rodney kind of manageable grumpy, and oh - he'd probably put John in his place the way he does with his boys! And John would have a scary moment of Daddy Issues (because he probably has a nice collection of those) and end up whining to Elizabeth how this guy bugs him and could she do something to make him go away?

Anyway. I see no John/John. Papa Winchester/Teyla, though... hmmmm. I think she might make him act a little nervous and adorable. Oh, happy place!

Hee! As much as I love the thought of cowboy!John, I chose the Brazil story because I like slightlyunhinged!John, and proximity to the rainforest would provide many opportunities for Rodney to complain about poisonous insects. Also, it could be very shooty. *g*
