To me the gayest of them all are RayK/Fraser (dS): buddy breathing, dogsledding off into the sunrise, how close they always stand to each other and how Paul Gross knew about slash before he started the RayK eps and put slashy subtext into the show.
Cliche (though I suppose this possibly falls under #4, maybe?) - it's really cold, they're stranded somewhere, huddling/snuggling to share body heat and keep warm. It's like, my bullet-proof kink :)
Ooh, this is unexpectedly tough. The gayest couple award is a tie between Jim and Blair (DUH) and Fraser and Ray K (the series ended with the two of them sledding off together into the sunrise on an "adventure"). Hottest sex tape? Fraser/Ray K. Because really, have you seen them?
Also, my favorite first time cliche is when the people around them assume they're already a couple, and when they find out about this, they think, well why not? I love that one.
My 'other' for comment one is Jack/Ianto from Torchwood, though there's a certain sense of cheating in a poll like this when your guys are doing it canonically. And with a stopwatch. And kissing onscreen. Aaah, happy moments.
If I chose a pairing on the list there it would be Clark and Lex because they are almost as convincing, without being quite so canonical.
The only reason Jim&Blair aren't ahead for the first one is that not enough people have seen TS. Not only is there mouth-to-mouth, not only do they *live* together as well as work together, not only does Jim have a flowery apron, but they have *spirit animals* who *rescue each other*. It's the closest thing on record to a Soul Bond, Slashers, for the Use of.
Hahaha! I love how even though the first question is split among a bunch of different couples, the second question is TOTALLY CLEX SEX TAPE ALL THE WAY.
There's this one SGA story I love that has John and Rodney in a cabin, getting naked to...share body heat. Yeah, yeah, that's it. Just for survival! :)
I feel like I've missed out that I've never seen Due South, but I totally agree about Jim and Blair! Man, they live together, work together, and even their spirit guides are all cozy with one another.
Also, that is a great cliche! I'm a big fan of that one in SGA. :)
I'm getting Torchwood eps from pun tonight, so I can finally see what I've been missing!
And, yeah, it's really hard to argue with Clark and Lex and their "friendship of legend" and "Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, I like the sound of that" and, you know, pretty much every moment they were on screen together during the first season. :)
*nods* Seriously. Jim and Blair aren't just the gayest. They're the most married. And they're married peope who work together, too. That's a lot of togetherness! And as you say, their animal spirit guides are all cozy together, too. That's a lot meant to be there! :)
I love how even though the first question is split among a bunch of different couples, the second question is TOTALLY CLEX SEX TAPE ALL THE WAY.
LOL! That is totally amusing me, too. Although not in any way surprising me! Who would make a better very secret sex tape than Lex? He's practically a professional at it.
Re: House. Hee! Actually, that's true of a lot of these pairs. Shep and Rodney cockblock each other like it's a sport. Oh, TV! You make me so happy sometimes.
I'm delighted to hear that pun is sending you Torchwood episodes - I hope you enjoy them. It's a nice place for slash pairings - with Jack/Ianto being a favourite for fans and fanfic, and righfully so, but there are several other wonderful options too, and my personal favourite is the subtle but rewarding pairing of Jack and the Doctor. ("The right sort of doctor.")
And it's just so refreshing to have an action hero whose sexuality extends in all directions, without qualms.
Clark and Lex in season one were so hot it's a wonder my screen didn't get scorch-marks.
Some people have a genetic aberration that makes cilantro taste to them like chewing on aluminum foil. I'm the same way! (We also often hate fresh mint.)

One thing I do enjoy about Sam and Dean is that there's no breaking them up!!!
