To me the gayest of them all are RayK/Fraser (dS): buddy breathing, dogsledding off into the sunrise, how close they always stand to each other and how Paul Gross knew about slash before he started the RayK eps and put slashy subtext into the show.

Cliche (though I suppose this possibly falls under #4, maybe?) - it's really cold, they're stranded somewhere, huddling/snuggling to share body heat and keep warm. It's like, my bullet-proof kink :)

Ooh, this is unexpectedly tough. The gayest couple award is a tie between Jim and Blair (DUH) and Fraser and Ray K (the series ended with the two of them sledding off together into the sunrise on an "adventure"). Hottest sex tape? Fraser/Ray K. Because really, have you seen them?

Also, my favorite first time cliche is when the people around them assume they're already a couple, and when they find out about this, they think, well why not? I love that one.

I feel like I've missed out that I've never seen Due South, but I totally agree about Jim and Blair! Man, they live together, work together, and even their spirit guides are all cozy with one another.

My 'other' for comment one is Jack/Ianto from Torchwood, though there's a certain sense of cheating in a poll like this when your guys are doing it canonically. And with a stopwatch. And kissing onscreen. Aaah, happy moments.

If I chose a pairing on the list there it would be Clark and Lex because they are almost as convincing, without being quite so canonical.

And, yeah, it's really hard to argue with Clark and Lex and their "friendship of legend" and "Clark Kent and Lex Luthor, I like the sound of that" and, you know, pretty much every moment they were on screen together during the first season. :)

The only reason Jim&Blair aren't ahead for the first one is that not enough people have seen TS. Not only is there mouth-to-mouth, not only do they *live* together as well as work together, not only does Jim have a flowery apron, but they have *spirit animals* who *rescue each other*. It's the closest thing on record to a Soul Bond, Slashers, for the Use of.

Sean/Christian from Nip/Tuck are totally in love, but there are just so many complications. *sighs* I gave my vote to Clark/Lex because the have have brought the HoYay from day 1. I mean love at 1st sight, awakening with a kiss, it was a fairytale complete with wicked witch Lana who ruined it all with her pesky pregnancy.Serioulsy until this season I liked Lana. I know that Lex and Clark have broken up, and Clark tried to move on with Ollie, but he's still not over Lex. They are still in love, and that will not change.

The first one is Blair/Jim all the way, hands down they wiiiiin. I think the only competition would have been Frazer/RayK (not on the list, dislike the pairing passionately but even I could see they were sooo doing it. *waves her Frazer/RayV flag sadly* My couple was sadly sooo not doing it)


Though these should sooo have been to on the list: Jack/Daniel (SG1 not on the list, definitely boinking, heeee they even have a slight fun wedding scence for a couple of seconds in their series 200 of episode)Duncan/Methos (Highlander, by the end. Sooo boinking or sooon to be boinkers)

I've never seen SGA, so that might explain why I'm boggled at the thought that anyone could be gayer than Clex. That first season? And a lot of season 2 as well. I feel like I'm watching porn.

I gotta go with Fraser/RayK on the first one. The fact that Paul Gross got a huge kick out of slash and purposely played to the slashers when Callum Keith Rennie joined the show was just too good to be true.

In an October '97 interview with Elm Street magazine, he said:

"I tell you, slash fiction is going to go crazy when they see the new guy. He is really good-looking and sexy, the dangerous side of Fraser. It will be totally homoerotic."
