Was to the preview for next week. YAY REUNION!!!!! Freakin' finally. I have a fairly lengthy list of Heroes I'd happily nominate to be the ones who fall. Too bad this isn't like Survivor. I keep hoping for a spin off: The Petrellis Save Manhattan. That would be interesting EVERY week.

You and me both. And one of the things they have to save Manhattan from his Sex Bomb Peter. I'd totally watch that. Or really anything where Adrian Pasdar gets more than 5% of the screentime. GRAH!

Mmmmmm, yes. Perhaps The Petrellis Save Manhattan should be on the Spice Channel. I'm so with you in the disappointment over not enough Pasdar. In general, I don't understand the storytelling decision to have none of the relationships that were interesting last season intact for most of this season. No Nathan and Peter. No Claire and Petrellis. No Mohinder and Sylar. No Hiro and Ando. Not until the last episodes. There's no building on last year. It makes no sense.

I told my spouse that it seems to get more disjointed every week. First it was too slow, now it's going too fast, and nobody's motivations seem particularly clear.

And you're SO right about the interesting relationships taking a backseat. Peter's doing all this for CAITLIN? I remain unconvinced.

So true! And the lack of clarity to the motivations plays serious havoc with how I feel about some of the characters. Matt suddenly embracing his father's way of doing things. Mohinder's ill reasoned flip flop, working to bring down the company, working for the company. Even tonight, Peter believing Adam over Hiro. None of it feels organic or makes particular sense.

You're totally right. They built these complex relationships and had Peter and Nathan dancing toward each other, and all the others you mentioned who finally figure out they belong together in some way in the end (except Mohinder and Sylar, perhaps, but Sylar got that memo) and then they all got split up this season--and not even in interesting ways.

We could write it so much better.

Boo to no Pasdar the last two weeks. The preview made me anxious, though - they wouldn't kill off Nathan, would they? There'd be no reason for me to watch any more.

I had a dream they killed off Nathan, and I was so, so pissed off! Um, yeah. I might be a little too invested in the Pasdar. *g*

But, seriously, I'd find it hard to believe that they'd kill him off. He's one of the most interesting characters, and Pasdar is one of the better actors. But, then, they don't always seem to understand what works and what doesn't works in their storytelling.

Awwww, Cosmic! That sucks. I hope you find the preview. It doesn't redeem this past episode, but...at least there's visual evidence that Nathan and Peter are together again.

Hmm, I just read an article(can't remember where I saw the link) where Tim Krieg admitted that they had sort of screwed up this season, and they are trying to fix it with what time they have left. So yay for them at least being aware and caring what the fans think.

Yes, that's true. I'm hoping tomorrow's ep will be better. As long as Nathan isn't one of the Heroes who gets killed. Because that's just a deal breaker.

I'm looking forward to the Sylar/Mohinder reunion. I have high hopes for that!
