Kindred: The Embraced, my old friend!

I was working from home today. Or, really, "working." I've been frantically busy for the last couple of weeks, and it finally broke today. So I made cookies, as you do. Chocolate chip. Num num. Although not as good as the ones linaerys makes. Hers are the best!

So I sat down with a cookie to watch a little TV, and Kindred: The Embraced was on Sci Fi. I used to love that show, so I gave it a go, even though a while back there had been a marathon on TV, and I'd recorded a whole bunch of eps, and tried watching one, and was very yeah-whatever about it. But today, I saw the episode where Julian and Caitlin go away together, and they have sex, and another vampire tries to assassinate Julian, and Caitlin finds out he's a vampire, and she feeds him her blood to save his life, and then he wipes her memory, because if he doesn't, he'll have to kill her or turn her into a vampire, and he'll never let either of those things happen to her. And then I remembered why I liked this show so much. Mark Frankel, what a sexy, sexy man. I'm sad that he died. Julian and Caitlin (Lily from Gossip Girl) really do have amazing chemistry together.

I might need the DVDs. Also, does anyone have fan fiction recs? I assume there's fan fiction? I didn't see anything on yuletide, though.

I think it might actually be impossible not to Mary Sue Julian Luna, at least a little, in your head. Mmmm. Yummy. And I'm going to keep my fingers crossed for some fic this Yuletide season.

As for my SGA vamp thing, I haven't written any more, although I still intend to. I've been working on some original stuff lately that's taking all my focus.
