scribblinlenoreJust walked home from an election party at a local bar that I went to with some fangirl friends, and I was going to take a car, but I couldn't get one, and I'M SO GLAD! They are literally dancing in the streets in Brooklyn, and I got to be a part of that. And I got to spend election night with a big crowd of people who were all hoping for the same thing, cheering their lungs out. And I was so thrilled that my home state of Virginia voted for Obama. And we won, we won, we won, we won, we won!!!!!
I know the hard work is just beginning, but for now, I want to savor this moment.
