Daydream believer

I've spent all day reminding my boss that the ads we're working on right now are templates. TEM-PLATES. As in general and flexible, able to be used for a multitude of purposes. And yet, he keeps sending the Art Director off to change the photo to make it specific and inflexible and altogether un-templatey. TEMPLATE! How hard a concept is it really?

So, that was the bad.

But here! Here is the good.



The lovely, generous feather_qwill heard my plea for a Life on Mars icon and made it so. When have two men ever looked more straight? I ask you. *g*

As per thingswithwings very good suggestion, I'm working on a LoM fic recs post. It's meant I've had to go back and reread a bunch of things. See how I sacrifice for the good of fandom! While I'm at it, I should put together a Firefly recs list too. Hopefully I can entice some more people into my new obsessions... *cackles evilly*

Last night, I was watching an ep of Life on Mars, and when I'd finished, I had a hankering for some Sam/Gene slash, as you do. So I went to crack_van and just picked a story at random from the ones recced there, and it was so good! It was complicated and tangled and hot and had a Gene who's thinking and realizing things. <3
